Hello everybody. I am Mrs Laureana Sheppard, my nickname is Laurie. I arrived here in England ten years ago. I came from Far East Philippines. My husband is British, we got married thirteen years ago. I started writing poems in 2002 the first was “Nanay Gone Forever” and kept it to myself. I always have clear and vivid dreams that seem to almost come true. My poems are my dreams the first poem I submitted in Poets’ workshop was "My First Dream", “End Of The World” and my experiences in my life "Mother Forever". Before I met my husband, I already saw him in my dream. And before I came here, I dreamt of riding on a white flying horse of King Philip going to Englatera. These are my amazing dreams that turn into reality. I wrote some poems to interpret these dreams: "The Messages of my Dreams" and "Did I Make the Right Decision?” Back on the year 1521, Philippines was discovered by Spaniards and named our country in honour of their king. that was in my dream. I helped my family, friends and others through my dreams. I became a healer after I dreamt that I saw God and Virgin Mary. Now I am a certified Reiki healer and practicing Indian Head massage. I suffered a lot of tragedies when I was young "God Is My Healer" and “Before Now And Forever” (my poem) and overcame all those trials in my life. I was about to commit suicide, but God was there and He stopped me. I survived and I know now that I have a special mission in my life. I dreamt of it when I heard a voice saying, "Go far away you have a mission" that was year 1979. Now I'm here sharing my poems and the messages of God. I became a member of Poets’ workshop at the end of January 2005. Writing poems helps me a lot when I'm feeling down. Writing poems releases my frustration and make me content and happy. When I have a headache, my head feels very heavy and full. After writing a poem, my head become lighter and I feel better. Now I already know and understand what to do "Write and Share". This is the way I can spread God's messages and to communicate with Him. I have many ways to communicate with God because I have to understand what is happening to me, what is the cause, and why? Because of all those tragic experiences, I learned many things in life you may think is impossible, but has been possible in my life when Miracle comes, the Blessings of God. I thank God everyday and pray that He will always guide my family, everybody, and me. To everybody thank you so much for reading my poems.
