UPDATED Wednesday 11th August.
Thank you to all of you that travelled on the train last Sunday. We have now had a count up and we actually made £1200 for charity. This will be split 50% to Kent Air Ambulance, 25% to British heart foundation, 25% to St Thomas Hospital Intensive Care Unit. I would like to thank all of you for such a fantastic total it makes it worth while for all of us.
I will be publishing final figures and letters back from the charities on here in due course. Thanks again to you all
Tony and Colin.
Do you want to do it again next year .... if so to Bournemouth or where????? Email me |
The railtour is being run with Hastings line unit 1001. Click here for much more information. DESTINATIONS:- We will have nearly 6 hours in Bournemouth to explore some of the seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea. The town of Bournemouth has it all a vast variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. There will be a vintage London bus that meets the train and runs those that want to the seaside and will pick them up in plenty of time to connect with the train. There will be an additional cost of £2 for this.
